Our independent living complex and support staff allow you to continue to live independently while offering services such as a dining room and pharmacy. We also have regular social activities that you can join like movie night, birthday celebrations and outings like shopping. The SHOAL Centre also houses the local Seniors’ Activity Centre where you can participate in a broad array of interesting and fun activities.
Making new friends is easy as your fellow residents are a friendly bunch. Many of our residents pair up to take walks or go shopping. You will also find that friends are handy when it comes to reminding you of activities or appointments that you might otherwise forget.

Across from SHOAL Centre you will find the library and a beautiful rose garden inviting you to take a stroll, or have a quiet sit on one of its benches.
Your residence is located in the heart of Sidney, BC and within walking distance to unique shops, grocery stores, coffee shops, and restaurants. And if you enjoy walks along the waterfront, we have that for you also.
Sidney is a small town with just about all the services you might need along with that small town friendliness that is getting all too rare.
